New update with SMART API

We’re thrilled to unveil the latest upgrade to your SMART API solution – SMART API v2. With SMART API v2, you’re in for faster, more efficient, and secure integration between SMART and your own CRM system. 

Please note that you’re responsible for handling the integration on your own. If you’re not the tech guru, reach out to your IT support team or technical consultant team to ensure a smooth integration, maximizing the benefits of a faster and secure API solution. SMART API v1 will be phased out on October 1, 2024.

We recommend transitioning to the new version as soon as possible to take advantage of these new benefits.

With SMART API v2, anticipate the following benefits:

1. Improved performance without delays
   With better performance indicators SMART API v2 is designed to provide a more efficient and reliable integration, ensuring that changes you make are instantly reflected in your system without delays or the need for data synchronization from SMART.

2. Structured data management
   In SMART API v2, all project information is now structured around projects, companies, tenders, and contacts, rather than users as in the current version. This ensures that you will always be getting unique entities and avoiding duplicates, especially when multiple users from your organization are working on the same project. All user related data is stored inside ‘users’ property.

3. New and enhanced features
   SMART API v2 includes information not available in the current version. With an upgrade, you can now access details about who is responsible for the projects you're working on.

4. Future updates
   To ensure access to the latest updates, all new fields and improvements will only be added to SMART API v2. This guarantees that you always have the most up-to-date and functional API solution.
